| About myself |
It has been 10 years since Zachary left his full time engineering job to pursue his new passion for acting. Talent spotted by Television Corporation of Singapore (TCS) in the 1995 FAME AWARDS, he has gone on and appeared in dozens of television dramas, sitcoms and theatre plays. In addition to being an actor, he has also undertaken additional roles such as a drama educator, facilitator, writer, director, host and voiceover artiste through out his career.
His biggest acting accolade came in the role of a mentally retarded man in the drama series “SHIVERS – My brother’s Keeper” in the 1998 Asian Television Awards. He was Highly Commended in the Category for Best Performance by an Actor in a Drama series.
This year, Zachary was last seen on Arts Central’s From Stage to Screen: Ang Tau Mui and Early Morning Awakening. He was also actively involved in the Singapore River Trail, Singapore Heritage Fest – Kids on Board, NAC-Exxonmobil Concert in the Park – KidzFest and Humour Me!, Fun on Foot, Adventures Singapore!, Singapore Arts Festival – Kids Fest and Kids Fest Stretch.
For his decade of works, Zachary was nominated for the NAC “Young Artist of the Year Award 2005”. |
