Sebastian Tan, our very own musical theatre star, returns from a highly successful run of Miss Saigon (UK) to be your Broadway Beng!
Of his smashing UK experience, Sebastian quips "I learnt a lot about how the English don't know how to 'lim teh' or 'lim jiu' or talk properly to 'lim peh'!" He just loves to be back home. Back to his roots as a born-and-bred-in-Redhill, Chow Ah Beng! and he is dying to tell us all about it.
Before he left for the UK, Sebastian ".brought down the house .." (Straits Times) in KaraUok! Well expect no less this time round. Come enjoy his hokkien inspired humour as he ponders the difference between all things East and West. Come soak in his silky smooth "I'm a GeTai God" crooning voice as he rips into those Show Tunes.
You also won't want to miss his Sexy Singing Trio : "The Chio Bu's" ! Starring former Power 98 DJ Denise Tan, Leigh MacDonald"Forbidden City" and Jacky Pereira "Sleeping Beauty". Based on a true Singaporean story, Long House is written originally by Goh Boon Teck. Here lies a thought-provoking and heart wrenching story that embroils you into the entanglement of the Bai household.
Long House as it is affectionately known is long not only in structure, but also in history. It questions the perspectives behold by modern people against the traditional frame of mind.
Rivalry, Hatred, Jealousy, Fear, Violence, Conflicts and Comfort emerge under a common name of Love, causing their bodies to bleed the same blood that ties their souls together.

Action Theatre - Confessions of 300 Unmarried Men
Come Valentine's Day 14 Feb 2006, ACTION Theatre's energizing new comedy about single men and those who think they still are will open at the new Drama Centre @ National Library and play till 19 Feb 2006.
Enjoy an exciting collage of hilarious and fascinating tales about men who can't commit, hunks who choose too much, nerds who have nobody to choose, mommies' boys who never grow up, metrosexuals who know more about skincare regime than most women, unglam men who want glamourous wives and naughty men you just want to spank (and then take home)!
It's a fun roller coaster ride into the male psyche that will surprise not only the fairer sex.
