| About the work |
In Toy Factory's "Ten Brothers", I played Ironn-Six, the sixth brother whose head was tough and protective as metal, and whose personality was just as metal-headed. With thick make-up, I had painted variations of this image on my own face many times throughout the performance run. Painting my character's "self-portrait" evoked fond memories of the fun times, life lessons, as well as the hard work I'd gone through during this production. Eventually, I will create a series of paintings depicting all ten super-powered brothers.
