| About the work |
Watercolour is one of the most difficult forms of painting, having to deal with the right amount of water and paint. Since landscapes don't really require clear lines and exact detailing, I find it much easier to portray landscapes using this medium. Also, I'm trying for the first time to do mountain landscape, letting the white of the paper come through as opposed to completely covering the paper with colour. Space, sky, air, water are my favourites to draw and paint. The process is something I sink myself into to let go of the rush and bustle of the real world, to let the colours of the REAL world come through.
